Welcome
I invite you to have a seat. Get comfortable. I want to take a moment to acknowledge your decision to seek out therapy. It takes a great deal of bravery to recognize the need to reach out and I am honored that you are here. Therapy can provide a safe and supportive place for you to explore thoughts and emotions without judgment. People come to therapy for many reasons, such as managing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, stress, trauma, or adjustment to changes in what we ‘plan’ as our life’s trajectory.
Whether you are seeking support for a specific issue or desire to decrease suffering you are experiencing, know that this is a space where you can feel heard and understood. In our sessions we will work collaboratively to address your concerns, build resilience, and develop coping strategies to help you navigate life's challenges. Progress is, without a doubt, a journey and I am here to support you along the way.
“Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.” —Brene Brown, PhD, LCSW
