A Little About Me

Providing individual therapy for adolescent and adult clients, I foster a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment, dedicated to creating a space where you can explore, grow and heal. Building a positive and trusting relationship between us is fundamental to navigating through difficult times. I strive to provide a safe and compassionate environment for all.

Anxiety disorders are one of my specialties. In my practice, I help individuals manage and cope with anxiety by addressing underlying issues and providing effective coping strategies. I also provide services in a wide range of needs based on your goals.

As an Associate Professional Counselor (APC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), I hold a Master’s in Counseling from Georgia State University. With my training in both community based and inpatient care, I have experience in various settings providing individual, family and group therapy. I also have an Independent Educational Consultant Certificate and have helped students and families through the college admissions process.

Adults:

I support adults in areas of focus including anxiety, depression, grief, stress management, relationships, personal exploration & growth, life transitions and relationships. In addition to my general practice, I have an interest in working with chronic illness and/or injury, women’s health issues as well as health care workers.

Adolescents:

I enjoy working with adolescents (12+) in areas including self-esteem, peer relationships, emotional awareness, worry & sadness. I also support adolescents in times of transitions.

Couples:

I work with couples in order to foster open communication, deepen emotional connection, and cultivate trust. Couples gain invaluable insights into themselves and each other, fostering growth, resilience, and the foundation for a stronger, more fulfilling bond.
